My name is Braden Hart and I am 12 years old, and want a chance to
see like my friends do. My dad has spoken to people that have been
to China ands received an INCREDIBLE gift. (THERE SIGHT) And he
wants to do the same for me.
I was born on Dec 13,1995 In Lyons, Kansas and
everything seemed perfectly fine about me. At about 6 weeks old dad
brought me to Missouri to visit my grandma and grandpa, almost
immediately g’ma noticed that my eyes moved side to side very fast,
and suggested he take me to see an eye doctor. We went to see a
doctor at the Anheuser Busch Eye Institute in St Louis. At that time
dad was told I was blind and there was not anything could be done
for (Optic Nerve Hypoplasia). They did suggest an MRI to make sure
everything else was fine and I would be ok. This all took place in
the first year of my life.

The next 4 years I spent in Kansas with my mom,
then in 2001 I moved to Missouri with my dad and started school.
Since then I have been to MSB (Missouri school for the blind) in st
louis every 2 years for evaluations on my vision. Still everything
is the same and I am doing the best I can.
Then in 2004 the school and others noticed I
wasn’t growing or as tall as my classmates. So dad got me into see
an endocrinologist in Columbia, Mo. They ran test , took lots of
blood, and did another MRI. They found I also have what is called (Septo
Optic Plasia). I have a growth deficiency and on my birthday Dec
13,2004 started taking HGH (Human Growth Hormone) shots and have
been ever since.
So I have 2 strikes against me and I did nothing wrong. All I want
is to be a normal kid. That is why I am asking my community and the
world to help send me to China.
I know someday with everyone’s help I may be able
to see like my friends. So even after I receive this GIFT I wanna
help other kids like me get help. My dad has read articles that this
may not be available in the United States for 8-10 years, AND I
DON’T WANT TO WAIT AND OTHER KIDS SHOULDN’T HAVE TO EITHER.
The cost for this is around $50,000. What I am
asking for is your GIFT to help me get there. Every single penny
